Alumni Meet



We conducted an online meeting on 02/1/2023 at 7.00 pm with 2022 pass out batch students and teachers retired on 2022.We discussed various methods of publicity through social media like What Sapp Status , Facebook, Instagram etc. Smt .Achsah Mary Varghese and Smt A S Jayasree(retired teachers ) also shared their views. For the smooth functioning of the Alumni meet we select a committee headed by Kum. Subhadra K Namboodiri. The Online meet ended at 8.30 pm. A meeting of old students of Mathematics department was conducted on 14/01/2023 at Chandrasekhara Bharathi Seminar from 10.00 am . The teachers retired from our department, Sri A J Vishnu, Smt Sathydevi, Smt A S Jayasree and Smt Achsah Mary Varghese also attended. Vishnu sir served as principal during 2001 -2002 in our college and he was also an old student of Sankara. Altogether 98 old students attended the meeting . Out of that Sri. A J Vishnu ( 19 passout) and Sri P V Joy ( 1993 passout) was the seniors among alumni present there. Sri. P V Joy is now working as senior general manager in Federal Bank. The programme was organized by Mathematics department as per the following schedule. Prayer : Subhadhra K Namboodiri( 2022 passout) Welcome Speech : Smt Essy C Cherian ( HOD, Mathematics Dept) Presidential Address :Sri. P V Joy ( 1993 passout) Lighting the lamp & Inauguration : Sri A J Vishnu(Old student and Rtd Principal , S S College, Kalady) One member from each batch shared their experience and memories during their college life. Vote of thanks: Smt Mathu K B ( 20 passout student and Guest lecturer , Dept Of Mathematics) All are participated with great enthusiasm and they suggested to fix a particular day for Alumni meet, every year. We fixed January second Saturday in every year , so that it will be feasible for NRI members also We also decided to start a page in Facebook and Instagram . 2022 passout students will take the initiative for that. Meeting ended at 1.30 pm with National Antham
