A Walk Through the Fictional Woods



The English Association of The Research and Post graduate Department of English, Sree Sankara College, Kalady in association with the Research and Post Graduate Department of English, St. Xaviers College, Aluva and the Department of English, U.C. College, Aluva conducted a lecture series on fiction titled " A Walk through the Fictional Woods on March 13 and 14, 2023, at Sree Sankara college, Kalady                           The Program was inaugurated by Dr. Priya. K. Nair, Research Supervisor, St. Theresa's College for women. The title of her talk was " The Cultural Politics of the Indian Novel. The second talk was delivered in the afternoon by Dr. Liss Marie Das, Research Supervisor, St. Xaviers College for Women, Aluva. The title of her talk was Centre/ Periphery in post Colonial Fiction. The third talk was delivered on 14.3.2023 by Dr. Cheri Jacob, Assistant Professor, U.C.College, Aluva. The title of his talk was " Ethical Fictions/ Fictional Ethics: Tell-tale Signs". Both the graduate and the post graduate students of the department took part in the program. Students from the neighbouring colleges too actively participated in the program.
