Sampling and Analysis of Soil and Water from the flood affected regions of Thuruth, Chengamanadu Grama Panchayath, Aluva.

As part of the extension activity, department of EVS organized a programme related to sampling and analysis of soil and water from the flood affected regions of Thuruth, Chengamandu Grama Panchayathu, Aluva. The programme was conducted on 7th January 2023 in association with Kerala Karshakha Sangham Thuruthu Unit. The main purpose of the progrramme was to study the of physico–chemical and microbiological parameters of drinking water and to check the soil suitability for agricultural purposes. This programme provided a hands on training to students on sampling techniques. A detailed report on the findings of the analysis has hand over to Karshaka Sangham.
