Dakshina: Alumni Interaction



As part of "Dakshina", Alumni contribution to their Alma Mater, Dr. Swathi Sasikumar delivered a talk on "Particle Physics and Universe". Dr. Swathi Sasikumar was a PG student of the Department during 2011-13. After MSc, she moved to the University of Hamburg and worked under the DESI project and obtained her PhD. After PhD, Dr. Swathi Sasikumar is working as a post doctoral Research Associate at Max Planck Institut, Munich, Germany. Her talk briefed on basic research concepts in Nuclear and Particle Physics and her thesis on High Energy Physics. She interacted with the PG students of the department and clarified their doubts on research abroad and its prospects.
