The College administration entrusts significant authority to the Principal, working alongside the Council members and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), to oversee all academic aspects meticulously. Following an insightful SWOC (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Challenges) analysis, the college formulates a Strategic Plan for next five years and invests a concerted effort in implementing it.
The major focus was on implementing skill enhancement programmes for students. A new generation programme MSc Statistics with Data Science was started in 2000, in aided stream. Four UGC-NSQF Diploma programmes and four Certificate programmes were introduced in addition to 20 skill based and interdisciplinary Add-On courses. As a major step towards fostering innovations and Start-Ups, the college has got Innovations and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) approved by Kerala Start-Up Mission.
These efforts underscore the institution's commitment to holistic education and responsible citizenship, preparing students not only for successful careers but also for a world where environmental consciousness is paramount.
