On the occasion of Reading Week 2019, various competitions were organized for the students by the college library and the Malayalam Department. A one-day seminar was conducted on 5th July 2019 at the seminar hall as a conclusion to these celebratory events. Mr. P.K Babulal, Librarian, gave the welcome speech. Principal Dr. Suresh A presided over the function. Adi Sankara Trust Managing Director Advocate K Anand inaugurated the seminar. Dr. Harikumar Changampuzha, Associate Professor in the MG University's School of Letters presented a seminar on 'Reading and Public Culture'. The COO of Adi Sankara Group of Institutions Shri. C.P. Jaishankar distributed prizes to the winners. Mrs. Anila B Nair, Principal, Govt. B.Ed. College, Kozhikode gave greetings and spoke. Mrs. Lakshmipriya M.R, HoD of Malayalam Department sang a poem and expressed thanks. Date:05-07-2019 |
