The department of Sanskrit is organising a one day seminar and discussion forum sponsored by Bharatiya Bhasha Samithi, under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India on 18 March 2024. The programme is focussing on the contributions of  Jagadguru Sri Sankaracharyar towards the integration of the nation and the integration of languages. The instititution is collaborating with Adi Sankara Training College and Vidyabhyasa Vikasa Kendram also. Dr. N.C.Induchoodan, Sri. Nangakumar C.G and Prof. Natesan M V will be presenting the topics. 

The organisors invited scholarly articles on the topics following, which will be published as an E-book with ISBN and DOI

1. Contribution of Sri Sankaracharya for National Integration
2. Concept of linguistic unity sprouted in Sri Sankaracharya’s literature
3. Cultural bonding of languages: A depiction in the light of Advaita
4. Social reformation through the integration of languages - The model put forward by Sri Shankaracharyar
